Only Kohler has PowerBoost™ technology which enables our RCA generators to accept heavy loads (like air conditioning or sump pump) without dropping power to other loads in your home. In addition, KOHLER® generators will have your home powered within 10 seconds of an outage.

Every KOHLER RCA generator features a heavy-duty engine built to exceed the demands of standby power. The generators are built with hydraulic valve lifters to eliminate need for lengthy break-in periods and expensive valve adjustments.

A simple terminal block helps streamline installation. The RCA line of generators accommodates natural gas fuel pressure as low as 3.5 inches to eliminate expensive gas service upgrades.

Toolless Access in 10 Seconds
The corrosion-resistant enclosure is designed to reduce time required to service the generator. Once the lid is unlocked, in less than 10 seconds you have full access to key components for scheduled maintenance or service. The enclosure is also NFPA 37-compliant to have an 18-inch setback from any structure.
